I started showing dogs in 1973 with CH Blazing Star In The Belfry CDX. She was my first Belgian Sheepdog. From then on I had the Dog Show Bug. I have shown Belgian Sheepdogs, Belgian Tervuren, Keeshonds, Old English Sheepdogs and now Papillons.
After retiring in 2002, we bought our first Papillons. My husband and I went to buy one pet and came home with two. At that time we also had a beautiful Golden Retriever named Breeze. She loved the butterflies till we lost her to cancer in 2007. I attended the PCA National in San Antonio in 2007. There I fell in love with a puppy that became my first papillon champion - CH Copella’s Smoking Aces. He is a multiple Best Of Breed winner and Award Of Merit winner.
We have since added several new Papillons to our family. Fumi – Namaste Jitterbug Perfume has had our first litter of Papillons. She was bred to CH Namaste Queen Bless Villa Incognito. She has blessed us with 2 females and one male.
Heather - CH Zelicaon Heather Ascendra began her show career in July 2010 and finished her Champion in October 2010.
We still love our original pets Buddy, Sissy, and Petie. They will be with us forever. If you see us at a dog show be sure and say “Hello” as we would enjoy meeting with you.
